Self Motivation

Recently I have understood how important it is to be self motivated. We all look for motivation in life and work. Something our colleagues become our motivation and some time our family members. A person is lucky if he has a motivator…and he’s blesses if he has a mentor who aligns him to the correct path.
But sometimes this stability is absent in our life and this absence can cause depression to a point where life seems to be uninteresting and everything suffers…Life & Work.
At this point we fail to see someone who can always come to our help…and that’s WE…OUR SELF.
"Motivation is a fire from within. If someone else tries to light that fire under you, chances are it will burn very briefly." -  Stephen R. Covey
No one knows you better than you yourself. We know what de-motivates us and we know motivates us. What we only need to do is spend some time in self realization.
“To Achieve the Impossible we need to achieve something which is very much possible – Understand ourselves….”
To be Self Motivated you need to be stable and to be stable you need to be -
1.       Accept yourself for who you are and understand yourself mentally, physically and spiritually

2.       Learn to control your mind, body and emotions so that you strengthen your inner self and make it apparent to others

3.       Begin changing what you do not like about yourself – Don’t wait for other to help you out or guide you – Just Start

4.       Have a tremendous amount of pride in yourself

Asking these questions directly may not help you get the answers immediately...but if you work your way to these questions...it will provide you valuable information. Information through which you can create loyal customers.

1. Why do you do business with us?

2. Why do you do business with competition?

4. What will you need form us in future?

5. What is one change you would like in our organisation?

Leadership - Lesson no 1

One of the most important aspect of leadership is caring. Your team member / employees are the one who are in daily touch with customer and the ones who respond / react to their needs / requirements.

Obviously you would like them to react in a good way & fulfill their needs & requirements. Is this possible if your employees do not feel cared about? What reaction / response will they give customers when they themselves feel neglected and not cared for? You already know the answer.....

Therefore remember the 1st basic rule  " Take care of your employees so that they in turn can take care of your customers"
